It was someone who was embedded with them and knows they are not trigger happy as is being painted in the press. If the things occurred as are being thrown around in the press, this is the case of someone snapping beyond their breaking point. And if that is indeed the case, insanity should be a defense.

But I would bet no lib would allow that because we are talking about a member of our armed services.
