I am less confident in your motives.

You don't have to doubt my motives. I think Kerry could have played his role better. He didn't.

The situation at hand is about the path this country is on. It is a given that this country is not on a path that it wants to be.

Example: rubber stamp Congress is suddenly at odds with the White House. We wonder why now. Why not for the past 5 years.
We had our chance to take control in 2004. We didn't. People were more interested in searching for their morals and souls than in taking a hard look at the state of affairs around them. They thought that religion and politics were synonymous. Today, I hope they are realizing how true our founding fathers were when they decided to keep the two separate.

I have only one single motive: to shun the politics of division and mistrust, to shun the politics of "either you are with us or against us" and just focus on the well being of this country. If the Bushies refuse to accept this approach, then kick them out is what I say.

The is "The View from the Center."
