You might consider purchasing an English Grammar/Style book. In particular, look into the section on paragraph construction. Many of us butcher the English language in an attempt to save our own time. At times, that can result in demanding the reader fill in the blanks to make sense of the post. IMO, it's unreasonable for one writer to expect many readers [public post] to collectively spend far more time trying to make sense of the writer's thoughts. After reading your paragraph twice, I could have made sense out of it, but why should I have to guess at what you mean? I shouldn't even need to read your paragraph twice. I very rarely read a paragraph twice on SI. Even butchered, the language used is understandable. Is your time [for proper construction] more important than everyone else's. For clarification, I'm not feigning incomprehension. I'm pissed off that you're tacitly telling me your time is more important than mine.

Given your notion that by not fighting we would lessen attacks against us (which I deem highly unlikely), you may still not understand.

Clueless in Seattle. Can you estimate how many times you've heard the phrase: We cannot win in Iraq militarily, there has to be a political solution.

Iraq was not a hub of terrorism. There may have been more terrorists in the US before 9/11 then there were in Iraq after 9/11. AQ would have just as soon knocked off the infidel Saddam.

Given your notion that by not fighting we would lessen attacks against us (which I deem highly unlikely),

AND

In other words, I can and do believe that if we are seeing and continue to see an increase in terrorism, the extent of it likely is now and would be, less than if we had not fought in Iraq.

Directly contradict each other as to what your position is. And I refuse to fix it for you.
