I have a close family member who just returned from a year of combat in Iraq. Myself? I could not serve even if I wanted to for medical reasons.

I know and understand the sacrifices people make to be there......most likely you have absolutely no idea.

Many people at SI have military service in both peace and war time. Some were drafted and some enlisted, but the US military today is all voluntary.
