re: :"Vote on a candidate's energy policy and the rest will take care of itself."

How will energy policy take care of open borders and the consequences there of?

It's not the only issue but it's the most important issue. So much that is bad comes from our waste of energy, and so much that is good could come from our efficient use of energy.

And it's easy.

To answer your question we have to ask a few others:
1) Why is the nation focused now on immigration?
2) Is it possible that we are deliberately being distracted from the failures in Iraq and the more important issues we need to deal with?
3) If the prime reason we are worried about unfettered immigration is due to national security concerns, why then are we ignoring the root causes of our national insecurity, namely our profligate spending on Middle East oil and our lack of a sane energy policy?
