How many layers of PCB will it take to route the HTT links in a fully interconnected 8-way system? :)

8 to 12? I think the challenge here would be the size. 8 processors (and their memory) do not fit on a mobo that would fit in a 19"rack. It would have to be, likely, 1 mobo for all of the I/O, another mobo, size of the entire rack footprint for the processors.

Probably more practical way would be to put each processor on its own daughtercard, together with its memory.
