But the CPUs are. One Conroe 2.67GHz = $530, one Conroe XE = $1000, two Athlon 64 FX = $2000. High-end gaming systems that have two (or four) hot video cards will already facing power and heat issues. Two Athlon 64 FX CPUs each pumping out as much heat and using as much power as a PEE965 are not going to be attractive to most gamers.
