I spoke to a close friend of mine today about these war atrocities, who retired from the coast guard one level below an admiral. He is angry that this stuff is being reported. He has always held such attitudes. He seems to care nothing about the killings, cover ups and lies, but only why we do not report the heros. His mind is as closed a a sprung trap. He also repudiates global warming. Smart guy too, engineer. And very affable. I have alwasy been upset that Nixon pardoned Lt Calley. Calley and Medina killed women and children all morning, took a time out for lunch and then killed them all afternoon until a brave helicopter pilot made them stop at gun point. They killed five hundred helpless women and children and Nixon pardoned him! We cannot make it to 2050 with this type of thinking. And both of my children should still be alive then, so it is of major concern to me.
