Joe, I don't get your logic here...this is a killer feature that AMD should have implemented six months ago if it only costs an extra $15...the whole point of the extra socket is flexibility...add a coprocessor or an additional processor the choice is yours...

Joe, I heard too that 4x4 is also for X2 (not only FX). Boards based on 4x4 will be extremely upgradable. Not a bad thing at all for a gaming platform (or very high end enthousiast platform for that matter).
