summarizing from your posts, you expect AMD revenue to be approx $2.3B in q3 ?

1- ASP has not dropped in an unplanned way.
2- unit output will have increased 80%.

Even if one adjusts these assumptions down a little, the minimum AMD revenue expectation has to be above 2.0B. To me it seems just beyond what is possible, but that is where the data points. Unless, of course, fab 36 does not ramp at a linear rate.

CJ, Re: Assuming a linear ramp, that would mean somewhere around 30k wafera in Q3. >

Problem is that's wafer starts not wafer outs.

I'm figuring ramp of ~3K wafers/month starting July 1.

That'd be around 18K wafer outs in Q3.

Also, add a month from wafer out to PIB or tray -> Somebody.

Subtract 9K, August.

This buisness is worse than raising chickens in that egg drops count but it ain't 'till they're hatched that the counting really starts.

Has AMD said that they're running production stuff now or will be by July1?
