Peter, Competition is the most needed thing for consumers to get and even break. Now we will have to take a close look at AT&T again. Since SBC bought out AT&T, they have been collecting all of the smaller parts of the former monopoly, and it will be intact very soon. I don't think that cell phones are adequate to make a real difference in that kind of communication. Besides that, the cell phone companies are now making toys instead of tools. All that music, TV reception, picture taking, and text, are just a fad and the cost will probably cause a reduction in such services.
