The problem I have is the "problem" the nay-sayers continually bring up. "Oh, this recovery isn't strong enough. Oh, jobs aren't being created fast enough." What's their standard of comparison? The late-90's, i.e. the dot-com bubble. That's not a valid comparison unless you want to see another bubble inflate and burst.

The debate between Cody and Barry is very interesting, though. Not to mention that each of them have a following.

Interesting chart.

Notice that 1975 looks the best recovery on the chart but in reality growth was much more durable coming out of the 1982 and 1991 recessions.

To get the true measure of an economic recovery you have to look back to it after its over. I suppose you think this one will be over soon. Well we will see.
