At the best, they are premature with that strategy. It's been a losing strategy for a long, long time. Many articles and analyses now say that the 2 companies should no longer be valued together. Value XM for its OEM market and tech and value SIRI for its content and rapid growth in subscriptions.

As an aside, we should be seeing news on streaming the Stern show and this may again change the valuation metric.
