CJ, Some increased spending on targeted areas, like unemployment increases. Maybe some tax cuts on lower wage earners. Token solutions for token political points. Making government bigger simply to address unemployment is the wrong way to go unless you have other goals in mind. Targeted tax cuts on lower wage earners won't amount to much, either. Don't take on unnecessary big expenses like gratuitous wars. Seems like the GDP is still growing despite said "gratuitous wars" and high oil prices. Tenchusatsu
