Don't give up hope. As an American I am looking for great things from Canada in the future. Got to get active though. Don't become coach potatoes like US-J6P

Oh.... also. Gore wone the popular vote by a hair in the US... Stink-in GWB.. well you know the story...

I'd move to Canada if I could...

Maybe you should put everything in perspective.

1) Harper is no idiot and he was the only logical choice avail. He may succeed unifying Canada and answering the "What does Quebec want?" question once and for all. His respectful approach towards the provinces is a great change from the liberal's arrogance.

2) He did not sent troops to Afgan... Martin did.

3) So far he has not been the lemming you suggest he is. However, he seems to be sharing some of the same ideas. We will see. I sure hope that he does not follow too much in GWB's footsteps.
