And especially right now when the whole world seems on the verge of explosion. I know you have issues re GWB and this is not directed at you. But as a conservative I hope you can see anyone who cannot see GWB for what he is, and represents, cannot possibly have a sophisticaeted view of the world. Like the prime minister of Canada. GWB said the gay marriage issue is at the top of his list. Top of his list?? To save the institution of marriage. Gay marriage has nothing to do with heterosexual marriage. What kind of nonsense thinking is that? Talk about torured thinking. That is the same type of nonsense thinking that got us into Iraq and ran our deficits up so high our entire economy and currency may well collapse. We have so many huge problems, most of them created by GWB himself and he continues to take this line. Besides that, it is blatantly discriminatory in the most venel and vulgar manner. 50 years from now these gay bashers will be seen the same way segregationist's are today. The whole time I fought segregation in the 60's I did it with my jaw dropped wondering how any ethical sane person could possible support segregation?? The majority of our entire southern states thought segregation was just fine. Kerry and Gore didn't didn't run filthy campaigns anywhere near as much as GWB. Can the conservatives not see what Rove and bush are doing with these wedge issues, or do they not care?? GWB and co. have used these types of filthy politics and wedge issues from the beginning. It is slimy, slimy, slimy and how can anyone defend that sort of behavior? They say the dems can best run govenment, but can't get elected and republicans can get elected, but can't govern. Soooo true. I blmae the people for that one. Remember Reagan lets aids run for a long time before he took action. Because it was mostly a gay problem. Many religious leaders said it was gods punishment. Talk about 13th century thinking!
