I dont buy this at all but i will play. 1. Would the serbian strategy work in your opinion? 2. would iran be capable of activating terrorists around the world? 3. What would happen if the head was indeed cut off--would iran become iraq 2 or would there be an orderly transition to a new regime. I dont think Iran has the fissures between different pops that iraq has so maybe it would topple and become serbia post milosevec??? I am just asking what would happen if this guy is indeed right about US intentions which i give a 25% of him being right.

That would be too insane for even the cowboy. That's not attacking Iran's nuclear related capabilities, that's an all out war. I do find a large part of the article to be credible. I certainly agree with the notion that the US isn't interested in any negotiation. Either Iran complies with Bush or it doesn't. jttmab

Right-o, just in time for summer driving season and in the middle of hurricane season! BigOil is going bonkers with the idea of minimal price elasticity in the American Public and visions of gold showering management on the head. The Dubyette admin has been at this stuff at least since last summer...in earnest it appears. That would mean they might have had time for thinking about what would happen after. Then again, this is the Dubyette administration who doesn't plan realistically for anything. If they're true to form, they'll bomb and....well, that's it. They must have some Neocons whispering in their ear about how easy it was with Iraq and Israel.
