I really don't understand why you're not displaying more jubilation. You have the GOP Congress, both houses; you've got the President you want. The majority of USSC justices were appointed by GOP Presidents. Your in-line with Bush's domestic and foreign policies. You're getting the tax cuts you want. Deficits don't matter, the debt doesn't matter. The economy is doing great. Defense spending is way up; he's building the military. He's done a great job reorganizing the intelligence community. He's formed a great Homeland Security Department. His illegal immigrant reform proposal is just what you want. Bush is doing the right thing in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, North Korea. He's freed 50 [?] million from brutal dictatorships. There's great progress in Iraq. Sure, they're not drilling ANWR, but that's just a matter of time. The oil isn't going anywhere.

You should be on this thread doing a text version of dancing in the street. You've gotten everything you've asked for.

It sure seems like you're rooting for the Islamists. Everything you say seeks to undermine our defeating them.

That's utterly ridiculous. I have not tried to change anyone's mind. Nor do I believe that I have changed anyone's mind. People come to their own conclusions. I don't want to take that right or responsibility from anyone.

And not rooting for the "home team" no matter how much you despise the coach, is tantamount to being for the other side.

I don't know about you, but I've never thought that screaming at the TV rooting for the home team made any difference in the outcome of a game. When I watch the home team, I look for performance of the team and it's members. If the quarterback can't hit the receiver, he can't hit the receiver. I don't cheer the quarterback with "Great Pass" when he misses the receiver.

You certainly haven't presented any ideas of your own...

That's a friggin lie and you know it. But that doesn't make any difference. It's not about my performance, it's about Bush's performance. He has the authority, the responsibility and he's the decider. Whatever happens is on his shoulders and no one else's. It's performance and responsibility. The buck stops at the White House. It's that simple.
