Just look at multi-thread tests (prior Anand tests, FX<->9xx), where NGAs lead decreases SUBSTANTIALLY!!! and it looks in some APPs even WORSE!!! than 9xx. Tells the story and its no wonder, why Intel up to date controlled all the tasks. The same goes on with 64Bit. We could see some benches here and there, indication (as Eracer said already) is confirmed and it seems, that NGA benefits from 64BIT around 50% (differs with APP, of course) what AMD could reach. We know, that 64B-APPs could gain 50-100% under 64BIT-OS and even more. So do the math - if NGA has 20% lead under 32/32Bit all performance leads are gone - even reversed, if 64/64Bit is used. Its no wonder, why Intel will not gain a single server market-share point ... edit: Have talked about this already, but the action goes on - aggressive action in A64-3000+ till 3500+ Trays. Very very low prices - heavy volume. Availability on A64 is now extremly good. AM2 Boxed A64 now relativly healthy - all modells here. Sempron on 754 still a bit short, but overall looking good. AM2 Sempron up to 3600+ here, a bit short in the low-end side. X2 also a bit short ... AM2 here also coming in, with around 50% of all bins. Prices stable, small adjustments in 3800+ on the downside (2-3%). Up to date, I wish that AMD could lift the X2 volume just because at this (high) prices, the market demands MORE. AM2 board supply for this early time extremly healthy. BUGGI
