you meant cutting off the tail of black lab buddy : that is a cruel action !! I loved my black lab and was glad to see him wagging his tail waiting for me, when i drove back from work, into the driveway !!! Can not imagine a buddy black lab without tail !!!
Poor buddy without tail ...no tail to wag so he must BARK a lot
