Something like that -- it is the kind of thinking you get when you view the usa as a closed economy. The deflationists think other people are in debt over their heads, but they don't seem to realize we are all in the same debt boat.

Is inflation thinking the lazy well educated man's fantasy of riches? Getting something for nothing by going into as much debt as possible expecting to be bailed out by price appreciation? That $800k house will be worth two and a half million in five years while all the suckers holding cash get wiped out?
