Jees, what, we are down a mere 6% so far on the SPX, and maybe 8% in the Russell, and that's all that's required?

Today's action was real ugly for the bulls, hardly the stuff of a bottom, in fact it looks like they've been eager to blow their wad on about three aborted rally attempts so far. There's nothing showing up in credit spreads though, XBD and BKX were actually slightly green today, amazing.

I don't think there's anything approaching real fear in the markets.

Real fear is when markets have sunk 50% and you have a sizeable number of people saying that no bottom is in sight.
