Which they shouldn't do. But then what makes you think that guy is an expert? Simply being a reporter don't make it so...

Back when Neiderhoffer was wiped out, the WSJ ran a big story about it. The journalist assigned to it got it ALL wrong: thought he'd been trading futures, not writing options. And so the story made no sense whatsoever.

Yet nobody at the WSJ caught it, and it was never corrected.
