Specter offers a tiny ray of hope that justice might be done in Washington but I wouldn't count on it. Specter is kind of like Nelson (the democrat) in Nebraska I think. He was elected in a state which is opposite his politics so he has to pretend to cater to the opposite party in some ways. Specter's noise about investigating junior is just that. When the going gets tough he will revert to his real nature. There is one thing which Spector has against junior though and that is that junior supported Spector's republican opponent in the last election.
