Nobody would have known Katrina was Cat 5 before the new data collecting techniques, is the point. That's a interesting related point, one I hadn't thought about lately. Spoiled, I guess, with all this data we now have available. And a considerably more factual than a lot of the points in that criticism piece. (You may have noticed that I'm still bugged about it. <g> It's bad enough slinging baloney but doing it in a piece where you criticize someone else for slinging it..., grrrr.)
