Re: Fine. Let's use 47 watts. Now why does 47 watts invalidate a X2 3600+ in the uses that Petz suggested?

The 47W doesn't invalidate his claim. I even said it would be good enough for SFF and Media Center PC use. Is there any evidence that Chartered is making the X2 3600+? I haven't seen it. Is there any evidence that an X2 3600+ from Chartered would somehow be a special fit for SFF or Media Center PC use? Nope. It would be popular because it would offer decent performance for a low price with moderate power consumption, just like the current X2 3800+ would be if it were priced the same.
