In general, no it doesn't but in terms of the US, it does mean the affluent are stealing, I mean taking assets and wealth from the middle and lower classes.


When "keeping wealth" is done through tax breaks to the wealthy that create deficits, it means that they are shifting more of the debt burden to the middle class and poor. They owe less, the middle class and the poor owe more.

This goes over Tim's head because he doesn't think he has to pay the money back... he thinks the debt isn't real.

It means no such thing. The wealthy pay out more in tax than the lower and middle class. The fact that they generate more wealth and keep some of it doesn't mean they are taking or stealing anything.
