What about the glitches like no sound and no network functionality with the Windows installation on a MacbookPro? A friend of mine has exactly this problem with their brand new 17" MBP.

It's nice to promote the dual boot stuff, but what about reliability? How many people are going to say they got had after they install Windows on the Mac and not everything works?

maybe the dual boot feature will be integrated into Panther so that you just stick the XP/Vista disk(s) in and do the installation via a wizard

The next version of OS X is called Leopard, and there is no "maybe" when it comes to it including Boot Camp:

"Apple will include technology in the next major release of Mac OS X, Leopard, that lets you install and run the Windows XP operating system on your Mac. Called Boot Camp (for now), you can download a public beta today."

Panther?! (thats a Cisco project! LOL)

Is panther after Leopard? Because Leopard is the next release. From a marketing perspective Leopards and Tigers make better names because the picture with spots or stripes is a little more dramatic than a black panther.

All these big cat names are getting mighty confusing. Nobody has named anything the "mountain lion" yet which is surprising to me since all these companies are in mtn lion territory.
