Look at 1995 to 2000, interest rates shot up during that time but job growth and the economy excelled. The home boys did great. Regarding other demographics... the U.S. is letting in more legally now than in previous decades. Sorry, don't have the numbers now, but will research in the near future. I'll give an example now though... from the 80's to the 90's population growth was ~10 million... from the 90's to the 00's it was closer to 20 million. Its been years since I last found this info but I will try again.
