I think that the Lincoln Park folks are the ones who initiated
the email campaign against Janavs. The article to which I referred appeared in the print edition of the Daily Journal/Metropolitan News yesterday (6/13), but does not seem to be in the online edition at metnews.com

Interestingly, there were two letters to the editor today regarding this topic. One took the position that there is nothing wrong with a lawyer who practiced 7 years and then pursued a business with becoming a judge because business people ostensibly have some acumen for dealing with tough issues because they have to make a profit. This was contrasted with judges who hail from the public trough such as former prosecutors.

The second letter suggested that websites should be established for judicial races where the general public could find detailed information about the candidates.
