Would you be happier if Israel went on the rampage and left nothing but piles of skulls, plugged wells, and salted soil? You know, the Ghengis Khan trip?

I don't find that acceptable. We could win in Iraq tomorrow that way. I still don't find it acceptable.

Also, it's been 60 years and the neighbors of Israel still don't accept its existence, and Israel (in 60 years, 3 generations of humans) has failed to either destroy or make peace with its enemies. That alone says to me there is something really messed up in its creation.

...or with its neighbors. It takes two to tango.

You do realize, don't you, that if Israel had followed the Turkish model and worked on completely ethnically clearing its territory of all non-Jews, it would likely be in a much stronger position today, with well established borders? Israel had the power to do this in 1948 and 1967, but refrained.
