If the issue global warming had as much attention and effort being paid to it as say supervolcanos, then I would be pushing for a lot more money and attention for the issue.

Well to be fair its possible if the issue was getting little attention, that I would know a lot less about the dangers.

Also global warming is something we can possibly do something about, so its more like the issue of impacts from space, than supervolcanos (if Yellowstone or Toba is about to make a record blow there is nothing we can do about it)

If we knew it Yellowstone was going to erupt in a month (or a decade) it would be kindof hard to evacuate the western half of the US.
