When the "humor" revolves solely around gratuitously bashing another group for purposes of her own self-promotion I guess that was my point--that it wasn't "solely." It may have been framed within the context of gratuitous bashing and self-promotion, but there was a pearl in there that was arguably funny. The question I was trying to resolve is whether the pearl isn't really a pearl or whether a pearl in a pile of garbage can't be permitted to be recognized as a pearl. I can't tell. that doesn't work here. I understand about "working here" and am prepared to respect your rules but that's a separate matter from whether the pearl is a pearl.
