The P&C insurers are notorious for dodging claims, I think Katrina proved that but here's yet another bit of evidence.

The lesson is, if you lose yer house and no one else does at the same time, you have a chance of getting what you're insured for. If other people (especially if ALOT of other people) get hit at the same time, yer screwed or at least will have to fight tooth and nail.

Phuck, why have insurance?
