The violence in Iraq continues raging I am sorry to say. Though we all cheered Zarawi's death, it turns out he wasn't the nexus of violent planning they said he was. The violence has continued unimpeded since his death. So apparently he was only a smallish part of the problem. It's still a civil war and the majority of Iraqis want us out of there.

Bush makes it sound like we are protecting the Iraqis. That's only part ture. We're protecting a minority. But it's totally unclear who our friensds are over there, and who is activewly fighting us. Similar to Vietnam. A quagmire.
