In the places where you have been is the population more homogeneous... I wonder whether our melting pot where there are so many different ethnic groups might result in more guns.. Just watched a film on the early immigration to New York City by the Irish,Jews and Italians in that order and the way crime emerged in the Five Points.. Lot's of guns and gang wars... Once the Federal Troops had to be called in to quell the uprising as the police could not handle it. Back in 1857...
