Let's face it when it comes to Guns and fixation with Guns and all the rationale to justify it, US is a different beast altogether.. That is not to say being a neighbour we are not borrowing some of that traits but here is something to ponder a bit.. Don't personally think ethnic mix has anything to do with it..

I'd think that crime is crime, whether it is "gun crime" or stick/ knife/ fist crime.

In these "low gun crime" places, is there big-against-little or aggressive-against-timid crime? Or just no crime at all to speak of?
