if i understand you, i think you are saying it would be easier to change young women's behavior, than the behavior of young men. Since young women bear the brunt of the costs of this behavior, they are the ones with the most to gain if the behavior changes. it will be much harder, i think, to change the behavior of young men- since sex without strings is a pretty great reward for males- though in an ideal world we would change everyone's behavior at once.
