How about this: Would the discovery that all life is intelligent, change one iota an assertion that evolution of life is unintelligent vs past beliefs that only humans were intelligent? Let's take the football game (system) anology, although it's clear (is it not?) that the players can only play football. If the players are intelligent, is the process of a football game not intelligent??? Would it be intelligent even with no "goal" other than to survive to the next "round"? dAK
