The rightwing continues lying about Iraq and siding with Bush's failed non-policy. Bush has clearly lied about Iraq since day one, and his latest "plan" (when they stand up we stand down) has already been violated. Bush just sent MORE troops to Iraq despite Iraqis now having 250,000 troops and cops ready to take over security.

Kerry, Murtha and Biden all have slightly different plans, all of which are so much smarter and more honest than anything Bush and the rightwing are proposing, but until Dems control congress none of it's going to pass.

The rightwing congress is now in real trouble. They have sided with Bush's failed policy in Iraq. No dissent. That means they have to run on Bush's greatest failure in November. and everyone knows Bush-cheney lied while 2500+ of our troops died, as gas prices doubled and Halliburton has been ripping off money right and left. The rightwing congress may be almost all gone after November as a result of this. The people support the democrats on the war, not Bush.

Kerry has at last realized that the longer the invaders stayed in Iraq, the worse it has gotten and the longer the invaders stay there, the worse it will get.

Today's Iraq will be a walk in the park compared to what it would be in 2008, if the invaders stay put.

As many as 37 Democrats voted against the "get out of Iraq by June 2007" resolution. So when (that's WHEN, not IF) Iraq blows up into a full-scale civil war and American troops keep dying in the crossfire, guess who will get the blame? Not the 49 regressives that voted against the resolution but these 37 idiot Democrats that did so.

If I were a senator, my one-line resolution would be :

GTFO of Iraq! Now! (Yesterday, if possible).

I don't care if I am the only one voting for it. In fact, I would love it if I was the only one voting for it. When the Iraq mess gets even more putrid than what it is now and stinks to high heavens, I will be the only one taking the credit.
