Which is why many people aren't real happy with the way the economy is right now, despite how the administration tries to spin the good news. Sure, they can trot out numbers and graphs to "prove" how well the economy is doing, but the numbers don't match what people see in their pay envelopes. And that is the bottom line.

JF, One thing we know is that US corporate profits have been setting records in recent years and little of that money is "trickling down" to non-managerial wages.

Maybe the answer is to become a manager? And I say that with tongue only halfway in cheek ...

Well, the Dems finally managed to do something constructive. They got the US and the world to see that nothing has changed; that the GOP Senate is in firm lockstep with the president they seemingly are trying to put some distance between before November's election.
