Nope, I know the above statement is factually incorrect revisionist history. I watched every second of one of those speeches and most of the TV appearances on political talk shows. Bush, Cheney, Powell, Rumsfeld, Rice. WMD was always first and foremost, and everything else was "by the way, here's some other good reasons," except for Cheney, who was flashing the Atta/Prague story without ever actually saying it was the unvarnished truth.

But what you say sounds good, it's the new party line, and it makes many people who supported the war feel better. If you like feeling better, go ahead.
