Bush Caught In Another Lie, this one about falsely claiming cleaner burning gasoline is a cause of high gasoline prices. EPA says it's not. news.yahoo.com

Notice how Bush always sides with the pollutors against our public health. And he lied in 2000 saying he'd be The Environmental President. Instead, he's the worst we've ever had. And he just snuck through the Dubai Ports deal while no one was looking. Which he will likely personally make $$$ from. How can you support this guy?

Nadine -

The scientific consensus is that 1) global temperatures are higher than at any time within the past 2000 years, 2) this is at least partly due to the actions of mankind, 3) if we continue to spew CO2 and other substances into the air at rates which are increasing we are likely to see some serious problems, including more and more powerful tropical storms, melting of the polar ice caps, etc. The arctic and sub-arctic permafrost is already melting.

The Bush Administration would have us believe that there's a tremendous amount of scientific disagreement about this. There isn't. Of course, they'd have us believe there's a good case against the theory of Evolution, too.
