I agree that it is a war of ideas and ideals. Are we going to win this war of ideas and ideals with bullets and bombs?

And if we're winning, and the Iraqis are taking on a greater share of the burden, why then are casualty figures for American troops trending upward?

That's a fair question, don't you think?

Zarqawi came into Iraq because of Bush. Because Bush challenged any wannabe terrorists to come in and kill Americans. Remember when Bush blurted out "Bring it on!"? How many US troops did that one line get killed? And how many wannabe terrorists turned into real terrorists after that day?

Before our invasion there were no operational terrorists in Iraq at all.
