So I climbed tetrahedron peak today . I went in last night and crashed on the trail. On the way out I run into this old fart who had just finished climbing Rainy. He asked me where i had been and who I was and then he says " oh I have heard of you , you are the trail building guy, I would love to help " Turns out to be Brian Fagan. He wants me to call him to go hiking but he is off to Peru. I have never followed his stuff - but a guy who wanders up mountains in his spare time is ok by me. Been sloggin since 5,00 this morning. It was too warm for such foolishness this afternoon.But I got to bum slide a good 2000 feet today, and got going fast enough that the only way to stop was with an ice axe. Can we say.
