For the Times if they are not charged it is a winning situation. Most of the country already knows they are nothing but a leftwing biased media outlet with no standards for news reporting. This really sets them up to lead the rest of the leftwingnut media for a while longer. It really boils down to one thing. If the President had sought and the Congress had granted a Declaration of War instead of authorizing the use of force, then Keller if not Salzberger would already be in jail.
