Kerry cannot use any of Theresa's money to run for president, just the $2000 maximum donation.

LOL!!! That explains how he hocked the old gals mansion for 6 mil to juice up his floundering campaign back in '04.

Sen. John Kerry gave himself quite a Christmas present last year. Mr. Kerry lent his cash-strapped presidential campaign $6.4 million two days before Christmas. Two factors made the loan possible. The first was the seemingly infinite liquidity of Teresa Heinz Kerry, the ketchup heiress he married in 1995. Mrs. Heinz Kerry reportedly forked over virtually all of the funds for the newly married couple's mansion in Boston's exclusive Beacon Hill neighborhood. The second factor was a little help from her friends at the Mellon financial conglomerate, who signed off on an eye-popping home appraisal. That super-sized appraisal made the loan much larger than it otherwise could have been.

Let's see now, Kerry marries a fortune (Teresa) who inherited that fortune from her late husband (Heinz) who inherited it from his forebearers who actually earned it. Guess that makes Kerry a parasite, thrice removed...

Flip Flop Kerry Is Back!
Thursday, June 29, 2006

From a reader:

Flip Flop is Back
I am so glad he got his butt kicked in 04...

I know, I know. What's the point on beating up on Senator John Kerry? Well, it's just good fun. It's the simple pleasures in life that I enjoy. Playing catch with my kids. A warm camp fire on a chilly night. Going to the county fair and making fun of carneys. A collection of sound bites from an idiot senator that shows exactly how idiotic he really is. These are things that make life worth living.

Miracle's happen!!...or more accurately--campaign strategies sometimes spawn apparent miracles. Your John-boy said something I agreed with last night on Bill O'Reilly's show.

O'Reilly asked why the US Congress has not enacted a desperately needed energy bill during the Clinton or Bush admins. Kerry replied the need for re-election campaign funding has rendered both parties in congress bought off by special interests. He added the latter are protecting their own turf to the detriment of the entire nation. O'Reilly even managed to get Kerry to state that Pres Clinton had plenty of time to push an energy bill through congress and failed to do so.

Has Kerry decided to distance himself somewhat from Pres Clinton and, more importantly, from Hillary in an attempt to win the Dem nomination yet again? Is he planning to champion a new energy bill in the process, in order to criticize the Clinton Adm and thereby diminish Hillary's luster with Dems? That would explain Kerry's surprisingly objective remarks on the issue, instead of his usual rabid partisan attitude.
