The idea that it takes a 99% marginal tax rate before one could realize the effect predicted by Laffer is ludicrous.

It certainly provides arguments against the confiscatory tax "soak the rich" rates the libs seem to favor. And they love to write the laws` without COLA indexing, so their idiotic rates get the middle class and eventually the poor.
