Lane, I shudder every time I hear of a decision by the 9th Circuit making the news. It always seems to be something way out in left field.

Using the same argument that stripping the vote from felons is racist, it could similarly be argued that it is sexist, because the vast majority of prisoners are male.

The backwards logic of "most prisoners are minorities (or male, for that matter) because most laws are broken by minorities (males), ergo all laws are racist (sexist)" doesn't go very far with me.

It doesn't surprise me much, though, that Kerry and Clinton are trying to increase their voter base in prisons. In fact, it kinda fits with my perception of them.
