we are doing terrific , thanks,, got small amount of water in basement , enough to soak small section of rug and some water in garage area. it was the last night of the heavy rain. we got officially 12.8 inches and unofficially 16 inches of rain.

this is being explained as worst storm in fifty years. it was an accumulation of four days of rain. some rain hit worse in various locations. the weather folks called it training. vast amounts of rain just comes running down like a train on a track. we were in it for first day then it shifted to the jersey shore and some places there got up to 10 inches near atlantic city. the following day it shifted back to our area however it was supposed to go more central pa but do to low and high pressure it just sat here for another day running all the way up state to ny cities and towns. plus those people have rivers running through them and all have now crested or will all crest by friday am. evacuations have been cancelled in a few towns and the rivers didn't go as high as expected. however, the delaware river is yet to crest upstate and down to trenton n.j. , new hope, pa. it is expected to be highest ever.

lots of sun yesterday and today, humidity left today. so we are drying out.

my heart goes out to the people who have been flooded out. the pictures are on throughout the day of current areas with major flooding. some of these places they shouldn't allow folks to build or rehab again. along these rivers they seem to get flooded out everytime.. i hope we are not paying for it.
